Jim asked me to make cookies for a new dad at work. I could not leave out the new big sister, so I added some Mini Mouse to the mix. A mommy duck and her 8 babies took a trip through my front yard. Don't know were she was going. she was very determined.

Its been a busy week with another busy week to come. And it's supposed to be vacation.

Went to the Boston Marathon today. Its become a family tradition. We sit in the same place, which is a great spot. My dad yells at all the runners going by. Some of the runners needed to be yelled at. We saw Tarzan run today bare foot in a loin cloth and that's it. Dad High-Fived a gorilla. Can any one say Sanitizer.

Just sent these cookies to Florida. 4 doz + for a Luau Birthday Party. I wrap in lots of bubble wrap but still feel very worried that they will not arrive in one piece. I feel very attached to my cookies. Maybe that's why I have a hard time eating them. But they are cookies and they are made to be eaten.

So It's Baby shower cookies this week. I made these cookie cutters because the ones I had were either to small or to big. These are just right.

Hi! these are the cookies I did this week. Lot of fun!! Had to make the cutter because there just wasn't one out there that I liked. After they are sent I will tell more of the story of why I made them. They are a Surprise.

These cookies were for an engagement party this week end. I am so happy for you R&C. It was great to see old friends.... not OLD friends. Gayle, I want the crab cake (ate to many), mushroom puffs (ate way to many) and the cranberry walnut cream cheese spread (could not stay away from it) recipes. Thanks for the great time!

These cookies are Olivia's. She decorated them by herself for a friends birthday. She did a good Job. Hopefully she will be able to help me in the future with a little more practise.

Monday was Pi Day. I have a supersweet kid who lives next door to us and she asked me to help her with part of a school project. It was the Pi Olympics. You can follow Pi= all around the cookies starting at the bottom of the blue cookie and ending with the 5 at the bottom of the red cookie and that is only a small part of the whole equation.

OK, I am not great with faces. Buzz looks a little mean and Woody's nose is long. but it is just a cookie right? Abby I Hope you like them that is all that matters.

The youth in our church are having a great activity tonight based on (one of my favorites shows) the Amazing Race. I had to make cookies for them. My husband is going to be "Phill" at the mat. He needs to practice the one eyebrow thing.

Valentine's Day cookies are the most fun to make. Very easy effort but a big result. These hearts are about 4 1/2 inches tall so they are a good size. The red center with the white around the edge that has been swirled together are my favorite.

I did these for Valentine's Day this year. A few of them went to Annapolis Md and Ogden Ut unfortunately the pictures are not great. they look so much cuter in person. My soon to be 8yr old son who hates anything pink liked these.

Ice skates for lillie's 12th Birthday. I had to make these cookie cutters because all the ones I could find where just to small.

Made "Boston Temple" cookies this weekend. Hope you like them. I made the cookie cutter last year for a Primary Activity(3-11yr old) at my church. The kids got to decorate those, so it was fun to actually get to decorate these the way I wanted. This was a quick order so the next time I will be able to do a better job on the detail. But I think they still came out great.

I have shipped to TX. IL, Fl, MD, AZ. I can ship to any one in the US. I usually ship priority or UPS. have not tried the standard first class mail yet. that should be cheaper. the cookies because they are a shortbread type cookie have a good self life. so the time it takes to ship them does not hinder their freshness or taste. It just kills me that it is so expensive to ship. but if any one wants them I will ship them.

Made Starwars cookies for Adrianne's birthday to give out to her class. Sent them this morning. hope they get there by Wednesday. Happy Birthday!!! Found this picture of Douglas from last year. He got himself dressed up like Darth Vadar and went out side. spent hours out there playing all by himself. can only imagine what the neighbors thought. Don't you wish you could dress up and go play. I do.

These are the baby shower cookies that I did this week end. Had to make my own cutter to copy the dress on the invitation. Love doing that because then the cookie can be custom made for the event. one of a kind. although i hope to be able to use the cookie cutter many times. it's so cute. Thank you Heather for the photos!!!! my camera in on its way to Cannon to be fixed. BestBuy would not let me return it. Bad experience with that place will never!!! shop there again.

Christmas Eve Eve

It's been really busy for the last couple of weeks I don't think I have ever done so many cookies in such a short amount of time. It's been a blast. this is the first year that I have done star tree cookies. Sharalyn, my beautiful younger sister gave me the set for my birthday and I have been dieing to make them. so I got all my other cookie orders done. And set out yesterday morning baking again, but this time for gifts. I had to add Douglas just because he looked so cute in his costume. He played Santa in his 2 grade class. His friend Angela made his beard.

OK! the christmas trees looked a little drab to me, so I decorated them. Much beter I think.

These are the latest of the cookies. Its been nuts around here would have posted them sooner. Had some problems with red frosting. not sure if it was the food color or the frosting(Itwas like marshmallow and would not dry). made a new batch of frosting with same food coloring it came out fine. I am totally confused.
