I was in denial for a short time. I feel better about posting theses now. Time softens the pain.

Cookie cutters I made today. the New England Patriot for me and the BYU logo for a Friend. I still need to work on the Oval its not ovally (is that right..ovally) enough for me. The ends need to be a little thinner.

These cookies were for a Young Women's Program at our church last night. The program was really great! The cookies did not come out as good as I hoped. The tendinitis in my wrist acted up. I had a hard time doing the lettering. Most of the cookies were gone in seconds so what really matters is that they tasted good. This logo doesn't show it but the sun is off center which makes some of the "rays" of the sun shorter in some places. Sorry the logo did not copy into my blog:(

I needed a shark cookie cutter. So I made one. I really like making my own cookie cutters. I can never find ones that I need. To make a cutter usually takes about an hour. I now have a good collection of them.

I haven't had a lot of cookies to make over the past month. So I was very excited to finally get back into baking and decorating.

Just got a new computer. Now I can down load pictures so much easier than before. Love it! Thanks for this picture Kent and April.

I forgot about these Santa's. I needed to get some done quickly for Jim. I actually kind of like them. Next time I think I will use jimmies or nonpareils for the hat and pompom. they need some dimention.

So.... I've been on vacation from cookies these past 3 weeks. Mostly because I wanted to be and I didn't have any cookie orders. These Mitten cookies I made (with Katie's help) for the Primary children at church. It was fun to do these with katie she is getting good at decorating. My brother Braden and his family came over and we decorated Gingerbread houses which was a lot of fun, messy but fun!

These are some of my Fall cookies. My daughter Katie helped decorate the fall leaves. I think she did a great job.

Pumpkin Witch cookies made to the Foxboro Ward Halloween Party. The Primary kids all got one. Fun to make! Thank you Sharon for coming over and helping. You don't know what a big help that was. you are the Best! The rest of the pictures are from the night before the party. We had just finished decorating. Thank you! Last Tuesday I got a knock at the door. The Mail man had a box for me. I love it when I get unexpected boxes. Its like Christmas. NOT!!! This box was a return over a year late. I had sent cookies to a Friends son who was working in Texas at the time. Obviously the box got lost in transit and was only just delivered. Unfortunately they delivered it a year to late. The box was refused and returned to me. I owe my friend a dozen cookies. Whats funny is that only 4 cookies were broken. My son Douglas still wanted to eat one.

50th Anniversary cookies

Onesies, but I guess you can't call them that because the name is trademarked. (What ever!!!!)So.... the Baby body suit and the Pea's in a pod were for a baby shower this week end.

Bridal shower cookies. How do I keep the Dark frosting from seeping into the white? Just wondering...... Baby shower cookies next. Pink Onesies and Peas in a pod. Then a 50th anniversary cookie my husband the graphic designer is helping me design that. I will post that next week end

Last week we had Grandma and Grandpap Irey and Aunt Jane come to visit. One of the things Aunt Jane wanted to do was learn how to decorate cookies. These are our efforts. I had a blast.

These cookies were for a conference last weekend. FSA is Families Supporting Adoption. I made a little hand stencil for them. The Temple cookies were a "thank you" at the same conference.

Oh my gosh it has been so crazy around our house. With vacation, Irene, back to school stuff and what not. But I did get to squeeze in some cookies. They are my calm between the storms. Hope all my friends and family are well and safe tonight. Hope you like theses cookies. It's 11:30 going to bed. Oh I forgot! Olivia and I put up 75 pints of Salsa this past week. My dining room table is full, Salsa anyone?

This cookie was made for Katherine. It was her Baptism today and she looked so beautiful in her white dress. This cookie was inspired by her. Her cookie dress sort of matched her real dress. Katherine, I am so proud of you.

Extra dough and frosting. A pot luck cook out the next day with friends you haven't seen in a while and this is what you get. Crazy cookies made real fast. They were not as crisp as I like. Humidity is a killer for cookies. Oh well, I didn't bring any home.

Went to the Cape yesterday to deliver Daisy cookies. Don't usually deliver cookies but how could we pass up the opportunity to go to the beach. Osterville is beautiful. Had a great time with Lucia and Auntie Sharalyn and of course my kids Olivia, Katie and Douglas. I wish the whole summer could be filled with days like this. My kids acted like they really liked each other. We had fun. The beach, ice cream, penny candy at the country store, The Pearson's and their beautiful home. What a FULL day!
