Katie had two parties today in school.  Her French class was having a party during lunch and her Drama class that she takes after school was having a cast party.  I had one day to make them. If I had more time the theater masks would have been better.  Luckily teenagers don't look before they eat.

North Attleboro High School had a Fine Arts Festival to day.
These were for the Bake Sale.

There is something very good about having cookies all done and ready to be delivered.

Center piece for the Teacher Appreciation Brunch today.
Douglas (in the background) invited his teacher Mrs. Labonte.
We had a great time.

New cookie cutter I made (North Attleboro High School Music). I did not get inspired to make it in time for the concert but there is always a bake sale at the HS so it will get used. Olivia's best friend's birthday was last Monday. On the Saturday before Olivia asked me to make cookies for her friend. I had half a batch of dough and some frosting left over form another order. Her friends fave thing to do is read so she got books. I was literally shaking and squeezing the last drop of frosting out of the bottle. I was not going to make more frosting. I just barely made it.

Olivia's High School spring concert was last night. Oh my gosh. It was great. The kids did a great job! Olivia plays the flute in the concert band. To my untrained ear they sounded professional. Olivia needed to bring something for the bake sale so I made the flowers and butterflies. They all sold so that was good. It is kind of fun to see people walk by with your cookie in their hand and hear them say how pretty they are.
The Heart cookies are for a 60th wedding anniversary. This is the second time I have done a cookie like this. They are kind of fun to do. I enlisted my daughter Katie to help place the pearls and received an hour of one on one conversation with a teenager. Win! Win!

For a bake sale ''Cupcakes for Teresa''. For more info go to Facebook and like Cupcakes for Teresa.
Happy Birthday Elder Munson (a missionary at our church. Elder is not his first name. That's what we call young men who go on missions for our church. Elder..insert last name.) Such a nice young man. My 9yr old son thinks he is the coolest. He requested cookies for his birthday March 2nd, this is what he got. Hope he likes them.

Wednesday was Zebra Day. Had a blast with them. I had a horse cookie cutter that I was going to use but it was way to big. I don't know what I was thinking when I got it. But luckily I could make one and it came out better than the mass produced store bought one. I love these zebras.
And of course more butter flies. They are still one of my favorite ones to make.

I made these cookies for friends. I had a batch of dough that I need to use. I went a little nuts with these. I actually saw these or something similar on another blog but they were square. I don't have a square cookie cutter with the scalloped edge so I used my heart one. The stripes on the others were more pastel too. Jim just came into the room and called my cookies "Jailbird Hearts".
Ha! Ha! Ha! he thinks he is sooooo funny. I kind of like the name though. The pink and orange hearts came about because I had extra frosting and ran out of the white.

Some of the cookies this week saved my sanity. I love making the Butterflies. I can be creative. I get all the frosting colored and in the piping bags and then just create what ever I want. If colors don't match, it doesn't matter because they are butterflies anything goes.

I was in denial for a short time. I feel better about posting theses now. Time softens the pain.

Cookie cutters I made today. the New England Patriot for me and the BYU logo for a Friend. I still need to work on the Oval its not ovally (is that right..ovally) enough for me. The ends need to be a little thinner.

These cookies were for a Young Women's Program at our church last night. The program was really great! The cookies did not come out as good as I hoped. The tendinitis in my wrist acted up. I had a hard time doing the lettering. Most of the cookies were gone in seconds so what really matters is that they tasted good. This logo doesn't show it but the sun is off center which makes some of the "rays" of the sun shorter in some places. Sorry the logo did not copy into my blog:(
