Christmas Eve Eve
It's been really busy for the last couple of weeks I don't think I have ever done so many cookies in such a short amount of time. It's been a blast. this is the first year that I have done star tree cookies. Sharalyn, my beautiful younger sister gave me the set for my birthday and I have been dieing to make them. so I got all my other cookie orders done. And set out yesterday morning baking again, but this time for gifts. I had to add Douglas just because he looked so cute in his costume. He played Santa in his 2 grade class. His friend Angela made his beard.

These are the latest of the cookies. Its been nuts around here would have posted them sooner. Had some problems with red frosting. not sure if it was the food color or the frosting(Itwas like marshmallow and would not dry). made a new batch of frosting with same food coloring it came out fine. I am totally confused.

Hi! Sorry it has been a while. Had a very busy week with the cookie thing. As you can see on my dinning room table. Its an outlet for me and I really like doing them.
Thanks to everyone who has checked out my blog. I can go in my counter and check what Cities and States have logged on. To my surprise counties as well. Canada, Sweden, Ireland, Panama, Australia, Mexico, France, Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, Egypt Singapore, New Zealand, Argentina, Germany, Venezuela, and Russia. This just is unreal to me. But more important it is a learning experience for my kids. We look up the States, Cities and Countries(and cities form those countries) on a map. So please become a follower and tell us where you are from. Thank you for all your support. I love it.

These are the cookies that I did this week. Beauty masks, Candy corn, 8, and Frankenstein. The Candy corn and Frankenstein I will do again for a Halloween party next week. although my kids want Frank to have a green face. I think they are right. but all I had was blue and I was not going to color frosting for just 2 cookies.
My Kids like naming the cookies especially the ones with faces. The candy corn looks a little like my son Douglas who's picture I have as my profile picture on FB. Name?

I thought I would post some of my Halloween and fall cookie cutters. These are what I have for Halloween. The spider web is my largest at about 6inches. I have a number of leaves, acorns and apples. If there is something that you might like for a cookie, I can make a cutter. The Turkey is actually a scallop cookie(sea shell) cutter. Making these cookies are a creative outlet for me so if you have any ideas of something you would like to see just let me know. I like the challenge.

Love the bright colors of these cookies. they are a copy of a cookie I found on line. Mine are bigger with a slightly different cookie cutter. These where quick to make. The hardest part was mixing all the different colors of frosting. These would be great on a stick in a cookie arrangement. The Aliens are still my favorite

The Pizza Cookies are now my favorite. I have started making my own cookie cutters, when I can't find the ones I need. For instance my Niece is going to see Toy Story 3 on Ice for her birthday this week, and she wanted a cookie to give as a favor. I made the Alien from the movie. I haven't made the cookies yet but will post them at the end of the week. And then that one will be my favorite cookie.

Hi, I'm back. I've been on vacation so its been a while since I have posted pictures. Had a great time in Maine. It's hard getting back in to the swing of things. and who wants to cook in humidity. These Ice cream cone cookies came out good until I put the jimmies on them. It looks like ants. at least in the photos they do. In person they look good. my kids said they did anyway. Got a lot of cookie cutters while on vacation at this great store called Rooster Brothers. Some day I will have to sit down and make a list of all the cutters I have.
