A few weeks ago we had a "Grampa's Family Fun Day"

in Jamestown RI.  Sydney and Wendy Waller let us use their beautiful home for the Day.

It was a Great Day!!!!!! It was a day we will not forget.  Thank you Mom and Dad. And Thank you Sydney and Wendy......Oh! and Boomer.

Mickey Mouse Cookies for Max. 

OK.. here's what happened. All week long I had a voice  or mental push if you will, to go to Savers(a cleaner upscale Salvation Army type store) to check out cookie cutters.  I have gone in the 

 past, and have found some great ones. But I kept putting it off. So this week I had Mickey Mouse cookies to make for Max, and finally decide just to make a cookie cutter. I think it came out great. The cookies my husband said, are the cutest Mickey's I have done yet. But I am getting off track. So I finally went to Savers, and found the Mickey Mouse cookie cutter I have wanted for a long time. The blue one in the picture below. I just feel like if I had listened to that "voice" I would not have had to make a cutter.  Although, they did come out darn cute.

not shown. This is only a 3rd of all the cookie cutters I got yesterday. All of them came to about $13. The copper ones alone should be that. 

Thank you Kharin for letting me post this picture.  Your cake was great.  It only takes one time to get hooked. You could be making cakes for  a long time. I made cookies for Sharalyn's baby shower and it hasn't stopped.

Hi! I been on vacation for the past few weeks. These are the first cookies I have  done in a while.  My nephew is turning 1 this week. (haven't got to meet him yet!!!!!) Hint! hope he likes them.

 I got some fun cookie cutters while I was on vacation. The Anne Clark ones (with handles) I got at a great discount.  But the favorite find was the vintage one (below) I found at and antique store. I can't wait to try it.

We all went to visit my sister and her kids in Burlington, Ma.

We took the kids to a petting zoo, then went to Concord.

There is a great shop in Concord called The Concord Shop. Its full of fun kitchen essentials plus some thing you just have to have. It's actually in the picture below, their sign is hidden by the yellow cross walk sign above my daughters head.

Happy Grad Teeth. There has to be a joke somewhere. I made this cookie cutter. I know that some would just use a template for an order of 2 Dos. But the extra few minutes it takes to make a cutter is soooooo worth it to me, even if I never use it again. They are taking for ever to dry. Must be the humidity.

Just want to thank all the great Dads I have in my Life.  My Dad, My Father-in-law, and My Husband. you are Fabulous.

Baby Shower cookies. These cookies are not my design. I saw them on Etsy at  Peapodcookies and just fell in love with them. Hers are much better but I tried.

The color in this photo is off. The

hats are peach and teal but in this picture they look red and blue.

Flag Day Cookies

Pink Elephants! I think there is a song about pink Elephants but I can not think of it. So  if anyone knows one please let me know. This is something that will keep me up at night.

I still have cookies for Olivia's North Attleboro High band picnic, a Baby shower, Bridal shower, Graduation, Temple cookies, and Flag Day to do. Hope I have not forgotten any thing.

I have so much to do today. I don't know why I decided to go through all my cutters and fined the ones that I have made. Then take a picture of them, label them and post them. Well, hear they are.

Back to a graduation cookie due Saturday........procrastination anyone!

This is one of my favorite cookie cutters, because it was one that I made.

It took a lot of trial and error but the final cutter came out great.

Pink and white Onesies for a baby shower.

Katie had two parties today in school.  Her French class was having a party during lunch and her Drama class that she takes after school was having a cast party.  I had one day to make them. If I had more time the theater masks would have been better.  Luckily teenagers don't look before they eat.

North Attleboro High School had a Fine Arts Festival to day.

These were for the Bake Sale.

There is something very good about having cookies all done and ready to be delivered.

My niece Maddy is being Baptized this Saturday. Wish I could be there:( but the cookies will be.

Dr. Seuss was very well represented Saturday night at our Young Women's (12-18yrs) Camp Fundraiser.

Theme was "Oh, The Places You'll Go! and thanks to the great turn out, all the Girls will be able to GO to girls camp this summer.

Great food and lots of yummy desserts for the auction. We came home with some good stuff.

We have a lot of great cooks at our church!!!!!!

My niece (Nora) was blessed yesterday.  Big feast at her house.  Everything was delicious. these are the Lamb cookies I made for the day.  When Lucia was blessed I made ducks ( older post ).  Katie helped with the the flowers. 

More Easter cookies. Tried a new technique, spray painting them with edible spray and stencils.
